V/A - Letting Go

Brand new Warsaw imprint "Get The Balance Right!", in reference to Depeche Mode, returns with a compilation of refined Electro/Techno tracks featuring the label owner himself, Ever Moving, plus two guests: Mutual Attraction (Ethos), and ITPDWIP (Bass Agenda Recordings).

Following his debut "#1" E.P. in 2014 on his own structure, Ever Moving opens the A side of "Letting Go" with Detroitish "Find A Way", a Tech-House machine based upon a lively arpeggio over a sweet yet frantic rhythm. What a good start!

His compatriot Mutual Attraction keeps the pressure alive and offers on relaxing "New Horizon", a moody piece of Techno built up around groovy pianos sequences. Perfect to play at 4am. Ace!

Glorified by the success of his recent "7000 EP" on Andy Barton's infamous London label, Heinz Kammler aka ITPDWIP invests the B side of the E.P. Back in full effect with "Mne Ne Bolno (It Doesn't Hurt Me)", the Greek artist serves up a milestone of an Electro tune enhanced by crystal clear synths, deep melody, and intricate vocals. Boom!

Choosing not to follow any formula but his own, the man behind Remote Influence label goes on with retro "Idata Stygos (Waters Of Styx)", a little mayhem with old school reminiscences and 808 drums reminding of Cybotron's "Alleys Of Your Mind". The track is even revisited by Jeremiah R (Tabernacle Records, Wil-Ru Records) in a totally different version turning the original into a dancefloor 4/4 hit, where dope beats fuse into quaking bass lines and groovy synth lines.

Deep, elegant and underground at the same, Get The Balance Right!'s second release is highly recommended and we hope it will open a series of successful compilations.
